01 / MEET DYLAN
A little about me.
At first, water polo, guitar, and fishing might not seem to have much in common. For me, each one is a different way to learn, improve, and take on a challenge.
Water polo has shown me the importance of trusting my teammates. Guitar gives me a way to be creative and express myself. Fishing has taught me to be patient and enjoy the outdoors. These interests are a big part of my life, and I hope they help you get to know me beyond my application.

Three sides of who I am.
Guitar & music
Playing guitar gives me a chance to be creative. I enjoy learning new songs, trying different styles, and making each performance feel like my own.
Fishing
Fishing gives me time to slow down and pay attention to what is happening around me. It has taught me patience and made me appreciate being outdoors.

I have learned something different from each activity, and I know those lessons will stay with me in college.
Be there for the team
In water polo, I have learned that everyone has a role. The team is at its best when we communicate, trust each other, and keep working together.
Find my own sound
Guitar has taught me that a performance does not have to sound exactly like everyone else’s. I like experimenting and finding ways to make the music feel personal.
Enjoy the process
Fishing does not always go as planned. It has taught me to be patient, notice the small details, and enjoy the time on the water whether I catch something or not.
